Return sermon shared on Sunday, October 11, 2015.

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
— Philippians 3:13-14

In writing to the Philippians while in prison, the apostle Paul demonstrated the power of the cross working in his life. Many times we are focused on a prize or a reward, instead of focusing on our daily relationship with Jesus Christ, which is the mark where Paul found the strength to press on. In order to embrace more of Jesus today, we must let go of the things of yesterday.
