Return sermon shared on Sunday, November 22, 2015.
God puts Christians to the test of fiery trials to purify their faith and to burn the wood, hay and stubble out of our hearts. It is easy to give God thanks for the good times and pleasures of life, but when the pain and suffering comes of the fiery trials, it is in these times that God wants us to give Him thanks.
In this lesson, we look at how not to think about pain and suffering. We then look at how to know and think about the truth of pain and suffering and why God allows it in our lives. All of our suffering is for our good and God’s Glory and we need to learn how to give God thanks in the midst of the pain.
We close by looking at a powerful verse of Scripture in I Peter 5:10.
