Return sermon shared on Sunday, November 8, 2015.
In order to have an intimate personal relationship with God, we need to look nowhere else except into the Face of Jesus Christ.
We seek Jesus through prayer and we must learn that prayer is first upward, then inward, then outward. Our prayers need to be a conversation with God that leads to an encounter or an experience with God. We can experience the grace and love of God through Jesus Christ if we will humble ourselves, pray, seek His Face, and turn from our wicked ways.
This lesson ended with an analogy that asks the question, “If your soul is a boat, are you sailing, rowing, drifting, or sinking?"
