Return sermon shared on Friday, May 15, 2015.

The Pharisee of Pharisees, Saul lived in a world of Absolute Certainty in his own mind. He was a rising star in his religious world as a Pharisee and he was very zealous about his religion. He was so zealous that he was committed to do everything in his power to stop this new movement that Christian history calls the period of the “Early Church." The new Christians were a direct threat to his belief system, they were a threat to his very identity so he was determined to persecute them and have as many of them as possible arrested and put in bonds, probably with the intention of executing them like the Pharisees did to Stephen. But as Saul traveled on the road to Damascus, he encountered the personal presence of Jesus Christ and in one instant Saul’s life would be changed forever. He went from being absolutely certain about everything to being totally uncertain about everything, to a personal relationship with Jesus and experiencing His Grace and Truth. God is taking me on a journey from a religious world of absolute certainty to uncertainty to a new fresh relationship with Jesus Christ and His two rivers of Grace and Truth being poured into my life each day. This is the most exciting, adventuresome, romantic relationship possible, a life changing relationship with our Creator and Redeemer Jesus Christ.
