Return sermon shared on June 21, 2015.
The Hebrew word שׁוּב "Shoob" is used over 1,000 times in the Bible. It has many English meanings, To Return, To Return to the starting point, to Reverse, to Restore, to Recover, to Repent, to Convert, to Deliver, to Rescue, to Renew. In this lesson we look at several scriptures with the word "Shoob," and we are challenged to Return back to the LORD. Israel was taken captive in Babylon (confusion), the good figs and the bad figs, but the LORD brought them back, and they Returned to Mt Zion. When they returned, the LORD restored their joy and they recovered all that was lost. We can get close to the LORD again, if we will only Repent, turn around, and Return back to God.
