A study of the book of Esther, An allegory, inspired by W. Ian Thomas
In the book of Esther there is a beautiful allegory showing us how the Holy Spirit comes into our lives and influences all of our choices. This is a story of getting the wrong man out of the place of influence and getting the Holy Spirit into the place of influence. So many Christians are continually ruled and governed by the body of sin and death, or their “Old Man”, when they should identity with what Jesus did at the cross by faith, and learn to reckon the “old man” dead, crucified with Jesus at the cross. Once He is dead, then you make way for the Holy Spirit to come and rule the kingdom. The soul always has the veto power, as God leaves us the choice whether we will please Him or live to please our self.
