Return sermon shared on Friday, February 12, 2016.
Job 14:7 God's Word likens us to a tree planted by mighty waters. As we grow and flourish under His influence, our lives become shade for those burning under the pressures of this life. The fruit from our tree feeds the hungry. Our branches act as a refuge for those seeking rest. Just as we get comfortable with our spiritual identity, the Lord allows the circumstances of this world to cut our tree to the ground. It may seem as though all has been lost, but God's Word reminds us there is still hope for a tree that has been cut to the ground.
