Resurrection Sunday sermon shared on March 27, 2016.
We say we believe our Bibles, but there are some scriptures that most of us have a really hard time believing. We have just as hard a time believing as the disciples when they simply could not believe in the Resurrection even though Jesus had told them, repeatedly, He would be crucified and, in three days, rise again. When the disciples got news of His resurrection, they simply could not believe.
The Bible says we were crucified with Christ, baptized, buried, and planted with Him when we got baptized, and that we came up, rose, or resurrected with Him to walk in newness of life. We need to take God at His Word and simply believe our Bible.
If we can, by faith, walk in newness of life, then Christ in us will do miraculous things through our lives, just like He did when He walked this earth 2,000 years ago.
