Return sermon shared on Sunday, May 1, 2016.
God wants us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. A renewed mind is a mind that thinks like God thinks, and perceives God the way He really is and sees ourselves the same way that God sees us. We need to bring heavenly thinking down to this earth as we are citizens of heaven.
The enemy has established stongholds, or Satanic ideologies, in the minds of Christians that need to be destroyed before the truth can come in and set people free.
In this lesson, we begin our study of the life and the teachings of the Apostle Paul. We look at his life from birth to the end of Paul’s 1st missionary journey in order to understand the proper context of when and why Paul wrote the Epistle to the Galatians.
We then look at a few verses in Galatians to understand the overriding theme of the book, and that is no man is justified by the works of the law, but rather only the faith of Jesus Christ.
