Return sermon shared on Sunday, May 15, 2016.
In this lesson, we look at a portion of the book of I Thessalonians - set in the proper context, written during Paul’s second missionary journey. Here, Paul introduces us to the Rapture and then gives instructions for us, New Covenant Christians, on how to walk with God and how to have a relationship with Jesus.
We discuss the differences between Justification, Sanctification, and Glorification with an emphasis on Sanctification. We learn that Sanctification is a life-long process and we learn that we can do nothing to make ourselves holy, but it is, instead, God that sanctifies us. We look at many Scriptures that deal with this process of sanctification.
