Return sermon shared on Sunday, July 3, 2016.
A Christian’s body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, but most Christians are not constantly aware of His personal presence. The Holy Spirit is not the lesser of the three in the Godhead, but rather He is just as much of God as the Father or the Son. He wants to manifest Himself to us daily.
When we come to church, we should learn to Host His presence and learn to release Him to others. Israel camped around the presence of God. Jesus has the Spirit without measure and He freely gave the Spirit to the disciples so they could freely give Him to others.
We live under an open heaven, but to most Christians heaven is closed in their minds. We need to learn how to be aware of The Holy Spirit’s personal presence so we can release the presence of God into the atmosphere when we are ministering to others. When the dove of the Holy Spirit is resting upon our lives, we need to learn to not grieve Him nor to quench Him, but instead walk in right relationship with Him, so His presence will not only dwell in us, but abide upon us
