Grace is the unearned, undeserved, unmerited kindness and favor of God. It is important that we learn to live in grace, or live under the continual stream of God’s grace. Jesus saved me many years ago from drowning in my sins, and I was so excited and full of first love passion for Him, but then I learned to swim. Years of standing on the shore, knowing how to swim caused me to lose my gratitude for being saved from drowning. But if the enemy were to capture me, put me in a boat and take me 50 miles out into the sea and threw me overboard, even though I know how to swim, I still need a savior. Grace is what saves us in the beginning, keeps or preserves us in the middle and is with us at the end of our journey. Grace, Grace, Grace! Yes, “Amazing Grace how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me! Religion is all about what we do, but grace is about what Jesus has already done.
