Often when we think of purpose, our minds go to what is man's purpose in life. This is because we are so man-centered in our thinking. In this lesson we ask the question, what is the primary purpose of God, or what is God’s ultimate intention. If we go back to the beginning, before creation, we see that the Father's delight was in His relationship with His Son. In creation, we see that God wanted sons and daughters to eat of the Tree of Life and be filled with the life of Christ. The more we look at everything from a God-Centered perspective, the more we begin to see that a mature relationship with God is when we are focused on what God desires instead of our wants and needs, or what God can do for us. God the Father wants a vast family of Sons and Daughters, The Son of God as the head of the church wants a body to express and manifest Himself through, and the Holy Spirit wants to build a temple where the Father and the Son can dwell on this earth. Christians are called to become mature Sons or manifested Sons of God, we are called to be His Bride.
