1. The Purpose

1. The Purpose

For thousands of years, many people from all over the world have searched for an answer to one of life’s biggest questions. What is the meaning or the purpose of my life?  To arrive at the answer man (1) must first ask: What is the purpose of God?

God has always existed. The LORD יהוה is the Self-Existent One, with no beginning and no end. He existed before there was any creation or even any eternity. Before anything was, there was God. Within Himself, God had, and continues to have, a purpose, a will, a desire and pleasure...

3. The Trichotomy of God

3. The Trichotomy of God

The God of Heaven and earth, the One true and living God, manifests Himself in three distinct entities, persons or rivers. These three are revealed as The Father, the Son (or Word), and The Holy Ghost.

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” (I John 5:7)...

5. Creation

5. Creation

Creation itself is given as a reflection or a visible demonstration of the invisible God.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse (Romans 1:20).

Creation was brought into existence by God, for God. He created all things for the purpose of manifesting Himself, or making Himself known...

9. The Sanctification and Holiness of the Believer

9. The Sanctification and Holiness of the Believer

Sanctification, or holiness, is an important part of a believer’s life. Holiness is not an act or deed and is not accomplished by “doing” a list of religious works. Rather, holiness is a state of “being.”

But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy (I Peter 1:15-16)...

7. The Salvation of Mankind

7. The Salvation of Mankind

God did not leave mankind in his fallen state and condition. He provided a means of eternal Redemption through the sacrificial blood offering, death and resurrection of His only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved (John 3:16-17)...

8. The Three Foundational Sanctifying Gifts of Blood, Fire, and Water

8. The Three Foundational Sanctifying Gifts of Blood, Fire, and Water

God has granted mankind a threefold spiritual foundation upon which to build his  spiritual life. These gifts are given to provide man with complete sanctification as he grows in the Nature and Likeness of Christ.

The Apostle Peter revealed the threefold foundation on the Day of Pentecost and upon the establishment of the New Testament Church...

6. The Fallen, Sinful, and Lost Condition of Mankind

6. The Fallen, Sinful, and Lost Condition of Mankind

Mankind was created by God in a perfect state of existence in the image and likeness of God.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them (Genesis 1:27).

However, man fell from this place of perfection by disobeying the commands that God had explicitly given him...

4. The Deity and Humanity of Jesus Christ

4. The Deity and Humanity of Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is called The Son of Man and The Son of God because He is both human and Divine.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given…” (Isaiah 9:6).

The child that was born was the Son of Man, whereas the Son that was given was the Eternal Son of God, the Christ...

2. The Holy Bible: God's Word

2. The Holy Bible: God's Word

We believe the Holy Bible is God’s Word to humankind. All sixty-six books are inspired by God and were spoken and written by men of God who were moved upon by the Holy Ghost.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works (II Timothy 3:16-17)....

10. Spiritual Growth

10. Spiritual Growth

Spiritual growth is pursuing and growing in the character and holy nature of Jesus Christ in one’s thoughts, feelings, deeds, actions, and reactions.

Desire the sincere milk of the Word to grow thereby.

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby (I Peter 2:2)...

11. The Law of God

11. The Law of God

God’s Word is divided into two Testimonies. One Testimony under the Law, the Old Testament, and the other Testimony is under Grace and Truth, or the New Testament.

Both Testaments are valid today to give the church Doctrine, Reproof, Correction and Instruction in Righteousness...

12. Grace and Truth

12. Grace and Truth

For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ (John 1:17).

To teach and believe in God’s Grace void or separate from Truth is both dangerous and detrimental to the believer. Grace and Truth go hand in hand and are joined, much like a marriage union. This union of Grace and Truth in a believer’s heart brings, or produces, life and fruit...

13. God's Governance in the Believer's Life

13. God's Governance in the Believer's Life

God is the Supreme Ruler, Magistrate, Master, Lord and King over all His creation. Mankind is His created subjects. The very first Commandment God gave His chosen people establishes this Truth.

I am the LORD thy God (Exodus 20:2)...

14. Church Leadership by Example and Servitude

14. Church Leadership by Example and Servitude

True spiritual leadership is not one of authoritarianism and authority, but rather of example and servitude. The only true authority in the church is the authority of Jesus Christ operated through His Word and Spirit.

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-12)...

15. Our Archenemy, Lucifer

15. Our Archenemy, Lucifer

The name Lucifer means light bearer and morning star. When God created Lucifer he was a light bearer. He shined in God’s eternal Heaven as the morning star. His ministry was to herald in each new dawn of God’s ever revolving Name. He was to open the curtains to a new “morning” in the spiritual heavens. He was beautiful, and full of wisdom...

16. Predestination

16. Predestination

The word predestination means to limit in advance, predetermine, foreordain, determine before, appoint. From the meaning of this word many have concluded that those whom God has predestined have no power of choice. This could not be further from the truth!

The doctrine of predestination is among the most controversial subjects in the Christian world...

17. The Coming Resurrections / The Rapture

17. The Coming Resurrections / The Rapture

There are two coming resurrections recorded in God’s Word. The first resurrection takes place in two phases.

1. Overcoming Saints Resurrected / Alive & Remaining Overcomers Raptured

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord”  (I Thessalonians 4:16-17)...

18. The Second Coming of Jesus Christ

18. The Second Coming of Jesus Christ

“Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven” (Acts 1:11).

Just as Jesus was taken into heaven on the day of His Ascension, so also shall he return once again in the clouds of Glory at His Second Coming...

19. Eternity / The Beginning of God's Manifestation

19. Eternity / The Beginning of God's Manifestation

Eternity is not to be confused with infinity. Only God Himself is infinite and un-measurable, with no beginning, no end, no father and no mother. God has always been.

“For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually” (Hebrews 7:1-3)...

20. Giving and Forgiving: The Golden Key

20. Giving and Forgiving: The Golden Key

Giving is the golden key to a fulfilling, satisfying, rewarding personal relationship with God.

Giving is a way to demonstrate to God that we understand that God owns everything and we own nothing. Whatever God entrusts to our care is really owned by God, and we are to be good stewards of those things: money, resources, even the people that we are to care for. Nothing of this world is really ours, for when we die, everything will be transferred into another name. To come to the understanding that everything is owned by God, and we are to be good managers of the things He blesses us with is to begin to understand the ways of the LORD...
